Alienware is back at it again providing the best of the best gaming accessories. This time around it is a 25inch gaming monitor - the Alienware 25 AW2518H.
ALIENWARE IS ALL ABOUT THE LOOKS
One of the best things Alienware does is standing out from the crowd. at the first glance, one can understand this is not just another office monitor but a beast. It has a 25inch 16:9 LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. it has 1,000:1 Contrast Ratio with 400 cd/m² Brightness with a promised of 1 ms Response Time. Sadly it is not a 4K display and because of this has poor viewing angles. But keeping that aside the display is overall great to look at with very thin bezels except for the bottom where is it slightly thicker and has "Alienware" written at the center. Over to the bottom right there are 6 menu buttons which are clearly labeled and makes the navigation through them easier.
It has a height adjustable stand which can also tilt, pivot and swivel. Now moving to the back there are three customizable RGB lighted lines which can bring dramatic lighting effects to your room. There is, of course, the iconic Alienware symbol to the top right corner. Looking at the ports there is the display port 1.2, HDMI 1.4, four USB 3.0 and an audio out port.
PERFORMANCE
It all comes down to the performance. Even though this is a 1080p monitor it provides excellent image quality. The colors are vivid and accurate but expect the colors to fade a little when viewed from the side. not a huge icebreaker but something to keep in mind.
With the new NVIDIA G-SYNC technology with about 240hz refresh rates games will look buttery smooth. In addition, NVIDIA’s ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur) significantly reduces blurring in moving objects for unparalleled clarity and brightness during gameplay and everyday desktop applications. And with the improved graphics card technology, one can smoothly get higher frame rates.
VERDICT
Well, you might have guessed, but everything comes at a price. Priced at $549.99 in the US, this is on the higher-end gaming monitors. Although this monitor hasn't been released on Amazon you can grab one for yourself at a price of Rs.54,000 from The IT Depot.
The high refresh rate and quick response time make this one of the best gaming monitors. You can play games smoothly with very little motion blur in fast-paced games without a hint of screen tearing. Good for competitive gaming. IF your only main purpose is gaming this is the one for you, but with the not so great viewing angles if you play games with friends or watch movies with your family there are better options out there for a lesser price.

When it comes to the black characters they only add one shade of "black" or "African American" and not every black person on earth is that shade.slopeunblock.weebly.com
