These Games can run on almost any potato PC.
Everybody can't afford a high-end gaming rig with an i7 7700k and a GTX 1080, most of the people are stuck with their family desktop or laptop that your dad bought you to do homework when you were in the 4th grade, for those people playing games on his/her (gamer girls exist) desktop will be a nightmare. But almost any half-decent laptop made in the last five years can actually play an amazing library of games.
We're here to show you the amazing low-demand games that you'd be a fool to miss, as well as some AAA and classic smashes that work surprisingly well on a low-end hardware.
1. Portal 2
Back in 2007 Valve released the first Portal game which was a short (2 to 3 hours) physics-based first-person puzzle game. Using a Portal Gun to create two-way travel points on many of the game environment’s walls, ceilings, and floors, players solved a series of spatial orientation puzzles while a condescendingly maniacal A.I. named GLaDOS. It was a hit–so much so that Valve went ahead and gave the game a full disc treatment for its sequel, Portal 2
Portal 2 was released on 2011 with longer game session and co-op features. It's definitely worth spending your time.
2. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
If you don't know about COD series don't consider yourself a gamer. Among the COD series, Modern Warfare is considered as the best ever Call of Duty game created!
Call of Duty 4 is all about the thrills of modern day warfare, ranging from missions over Europe to the hottest climes in Iraq and Iran. The game looks graphically good featuring richly detailed environments, highly detailed soldiers and intricate weapons even though it was released in late 2007. However, the big downside is that the campaign mode will not last long. It isn't ridiculously short, it is just so good that you wished there was more...
3. Half Life 2
Another great release by Valve. Valve's source engine is particularly good at working with lesser GPUs, making classics like Half Life 2 play well on modern integrated graphics hardware.
Half Life 2 is a First Person Shooter broken into several chapters. You start the game without any items, slowly building up your arsenal over the course of the game. The graphics aren't that great but the gameplay is superb
4. LIMBO
Limbo is an interesting 2D adventure game from Playdead that looks to prove that the slightly creepy can be infinitely entertaining. The backstory is simple: boy in search of a lost sister, a young boy wanders into LIMBO, a gloomy, foreboding land that would give most people pause.
The gameplay itself is easy to understand; in a nutshell, one guides the character (using virtual controls) from left to right. This is, of course, easier said than done, because there are times one has to think how to get through an obstacle to clear egress — and at other times, one needs to avoid lethal traps that end the run. When one considers how simple the LIMBO is, one might be surprised at how addictive it is.
5. Left 4 Dead 2
If you like killing zombies, L4D 2 is a must to play game. It's a first-person shooter in which four people must survive a zombie apocalypse infesting the southern United States.
Each campaign is a stand-alone adventure following a foursome of survivors as they attempt to escape. You can play the game online with your friends. The game also features a Versus mode, where players can assume the role of zombies and attempt to eliminate the survivors. The game also includes a Survival mode where players must outlast zombies for an extended time period
6. Assassin's Creed 2
Assasin's Creed 2 is widely considered as one of the best game of the AC sequels. It had a gigantic improvement over the first Assasin's Creed game. If you look back in the sequels and gaming history very few made remarkable strides that AC 2 made over Assasin's Creed, The content was much more varied and streamlined to allow the player to tackle objectives at their own pace. Combats were much more refined and it played more like an action game which worked well.
The game began telling the story of Ezio who is the most iconic character in the series. I really recommend playing this game if you're an Assasin Creed fan.
7. Dead Space 2
Dead Space 2 is a science fiction survival horror video game set in a sprawling city on one of Saturn's moons. It is a gorgeous, creepy thrill ride packed with shocking moments. Most of the gameplay centers on exploration and gun combat, with violent aliens known as Necromorphs as adversaries.
With high-quality graphics, the game's sys requirements aren't that demanding. All you need is a dual-core CPU and 2 gigs of Ram

8. Bioshock 2
If would recommend you to play all the Bioshock series, it's that good. Bioshock Infinite the last sequel is an amazing game with great visuals but it requires high-end hardware to run. But Bioshock 2 will give you the same kind of experience with 2010 graphics.
The game is a first-person shooter set in the fictional underwater city of Rapture, the player explores Rapture and fights off splicers, the remaining psychotic human population of the undersea city, using a combination of the environment, weapons, plasmids, and tonics. The storyline is very engaging and addicting.
9. Darksiders
Darksiders is an action role-playing hack and slashes video game developed by Vigil Games and published by THQ. The game takes its inspiration from the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, with the player taking the role of the horseman War.
The world is divided into separate locations with many areas initially inaccessible until later in the game. The center of the world, The Scalding Gallow, acts as a hub where War is given new objectives and paths to unlock new areas, many of which require the use of newly gained abilities to progress. The game's system requirements are only a dual-core CPU and 2GB of Ram.
10. NFS Hot Pursuit
The list won't be complete without including a racing game and speaking of NFS you don't need an introduction.
Heres the list of features of the game • Career • Need For Speed Autolog • Weapons And Equipment • Seacrest County and a bunch of sexy cars.
11. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction
You are a fugitive, ruthlessly hunted by the very government you used to serve. Your only choice is to improvise to survive.Experience original gameplay based on improvisation in which your environment is your top weapon. Always on your toes, you need to react on the fly to any changing situations and use the environment and the crowds around you to create diversions and deter your enemies.
Here is some Honorable mention...
The following games require a bit more power under the hood to run smoothly.
