The main reason for using this is that it's free.But most of the bloggers move to Wordpress because of its attractive interface that is very user-friendly and it also comes with a wide verity of add-on for SEO and blog management.But there are still people like me who continue using blogger.And if you are one of them, here is a good news for you.Blogger has added 4 new default templates to their list. Now you may ask me what is great about is when we can download and upload custom templates.Then the here is the reason, most of the custom templates found on the market say that they are mobile friendly. My most of them are not that great.At least the free templates are not great. 

Advantages


 The new blogger templates are good looking as well as it comes with great mobile friendliness.Yes, If you ask me I will say that it is the best. Recently google has been promoting content developed and web developer to give more concentration on mobile friendliness. And it is said that more that 50% of the searches are made from mobiles. And the most important is that more 50% of the people are likely to leave the site if it's not mobile friendly.I have tried all these templates on this site and found it very useful.And it also gives a score of 99/100 on the Google Mobile Friendliness test.And is also has a fair loading speed.

Disadvantages


 These are good templates but is not that great when it comes to advertisements.Googles new templates have very small space for advertisements. We do not have options to add many of the large banner type ads. Most of the ad that suits these templates are very small.So I think that it will affect the CPC of the websites.Anyway, you can also increase the CPC rate of Adsense using some tips that I already posted on this blog.

 Googles 4 new types of templates come with 5 different styles in each of them.So you will be having 20 different styles.

There are no much options for you to choose from.So either you have to choose any one from the above 4 or else you can go for custom templates.If you are trying to find good mobile friendly website this will be the right choice.If you want the ads to be placed in the way that you want, them you can go for custom templates.
