You might have seen in many movies that computers in the movie welcoming the hero with his name . And if you also want to do the same then you are at the right place !!!
Today, I am going to tell you , how to make your computer welcome you with your name.
So, lets begin
1 ) Open Notepad , Go to Start->All Programs->Accessories->Notepad
2 )Copy Paste the following codes to the Notepad
Dim speaks, speech
speaks="Welcome to your PC, Username"
Set speech=CreateObject("sapi.spvoice")
speech.Speak speaks
3 )Replace Username with your name.
4 )Now click on File menu -> Save as . Save it as' Welcome.vbs '
5 )Now copy the Saved file
6 )Then navigate to
C:Users {User-Name}AppDataRoamingMicrosoftWindowsStart MenuProgramsStartup (in Windows 8, Windows 7 and Windows Vista) if C: is your System drive. AppData is a hidden folder. So, you will need to select showing hidden folders in Folder options to locate it.
7 ) Paste the file there
8 ) That's all
For better Results follow the steps below
1 )Go to Start->Control panel->Sound (Choose view by 'Large icons' if don,t find the Sound option )
2 )Under the 'Sounds tab' , Untick ' Play Windows Statup Sound '
